What are the available models of the air pump?

The available models are 100, 200 (2 x 100), and 400 (2 x 200 l/h).

Can I adjust the air flow?

Yes, the air flow can be adjusted both at the pump and on each diffusor.

Is the air pump noisy?

No, it operates continuously in an ultra-quiet manner.

Will the 400 be quieter than the 200?

No, both have the same noise level.

Does this come with air line and airstone?

Yes, it comes with Eheims air diffusor and 1 mtr of tube.

Can I use a non-return valve with this air pump instead of placing it above the tank?

Yes, you can use a non-return valve with this air pump.

Will the Eheim 100 be too big for my 35 litre tank?

The Eheim 100 would be suitable for your tank as it can be adjusted to fit your needs.

Is this pump suitable for a small 50L tank?

Typically, it's recommended to get a pump specced for a tank larger than yours, but it should still work.

How and where do I fit the non-return valve with the 100 pump?

Cut the air line connection below the water level of the tank and fit it in line towards the air stone to prevent water backfilling.

Can I place this air pump in another room and run the hose to the fish tank?

It may have enough power to reach 5 or 7 feet away, but for a longer distance, you may want to consider an outside air pump.

Can I use the original biorb transformer with this pump?

No, the Biorb transformer is not compatible with the Enheim pumps. The Enheim pump requires a standard electrical socket.

Can I place this air pump on the cabinet at the level of the tank?

Yes, you can place the air pump at the same level as the tank for it to be effective.

What size air pump do I need for a 120 litre deep tank?

I would recommend the Eheim 200 for that size of tank.

Eheim 3701110 Editorial Review

EHEIM AIR PUMP 400LH is a corded electric air pump with an impressive airflow capacity of 400 Litres Per Minute. Users appreciate its quiet operation, finding it ideal for aquariums, and many have noted how it provides a gentle fizzing sound without disturbing fish or surrounding environments. The ability to individually adjust airflow for each outlet is also seen as a significant advantage. Customers highlight its durability and high-quality construction, common for Eheim products, which often last longer than cheaper alternatives. However, some have experienced variability in noise and performance, suggesting occasional unit inconsistencies. Overall, the performance and control features make it a worthy choice for serious aquarium enthusiasts.
