  • Consciousness and the Unconscious is the summer 1934 volume of the lectures/conferences Jung gave at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) between 1933 and 1941. These courses were recreated from the participants' notes. We always encounter more accessible language in Jung's seminar texts, because the audience addressed in them is a general audience from time to time and Jung's verbal discourse is simpler and more sincere. In the 12 lessons here, we encounter a now-formed version of Jung's theory, and it is precisely in this form that Jung explains his general theory to his audience. Basic concepts, psychogalvanic method, association tests, dream analysis, personality types, etc. Many Jungian methods and understandings are discussed in an organized and simple manner, contributions are made to some issues through Jung's experiences over time, and various case and experiment examples are given.
