Whether you need freeze protection or temperature monitoring and control, the FPT-130 Heat Trace Control has got you covered. Operating from the heater's power source, this control thermostat is equipped with a universal power supply that can handle voltages ranging from 100 V ac to 277 V ac.
It can also control a resistive load of up to 30 A, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of heating systems. The FPT-130 Heat Trace Control features a thermistor temperature sensor with a 20 ft. cable, allowing for accurate temperature readings in extreme conditions from -40 °F to 230 °F (-40 °C to 110 °C). This makes it suitable for various industrial and outdoor environments. Safety is a top priority, which is why this heat trace control comes with Ground-Fault Equipment Protection and both manual and automatic test functions.
It also includes alarms for excess ground fault current, low load current, and temperature variations. With panel LED lights and relay contacts for remote signaling, you can easily monitor and respond to any issues that may arise. In addition, the FPT-130 Heat Trace Control offers a Fault Mode setting that enables you to either energize or de-energize the heaters in the event of a sensor fault. This ensures the system's reliability and prevents potential damage or disruptions. For critical fire protection systems, the Fire Protection Mode maintains the heater operation, ensuring continuous performance when you need it the most. Built to withstand the elements, this control thermostat features a durable weather-resistant NEMA 4X IP66 enclosure.
