The textbook features new sections on subjects such as ATC services, GPS navigation, airspace, flight information sources, and cross-country flying. Throughout the textbook students are introduced to the latest developments in flight operations, ranging from ADS-B and the FAA’s NextGen system to digital instrument displays, electronic flight bags, and the online capabilities of Flight Service. Content was streamlined to provide the next generation of students with concise, comprehensive explanations of the subject matter required to pass both the aeronautical knowledge and practical tests
