About This Item

Introducing the Roboto DIY Kit - the ultimate Robot Voice Changing Eurorack Module Kit. Get ready to transform your audio with this versatile module that brings together a vocoder, pitch shifter, speak-n-spell effect, vibrato, 8-bit modulator, and a bit crusher all in one lo-fi heavily CV controllable package. With the Roboto module, you can easily switch between Robot mode and Pitch mode using the handy LEDs that indicate which mode you're in. The ROBOT button allows you to toggle between the two modes effortlessly.

Furthermore, the Vibrato feature can be toggled on and off, adding an extra layer of versatility to your sound. The Roboto module is designed to work seamlessly with CV inputs. By connecting external gate pulses to the Robot and Vibrato CV inputs, you can activate and deactivate these modes, just like pressing their corresponding buttons. The transition between off and on is smooth, ensuring a seamless audio experience. The Rate pot/input controls the clock speed in the chip, allowing you to adjust the tempo of your audio.

You can mimic the range of the pot by feeding a CV input of 0-5V, and voltages outside this range will further push the rate setting. The CV input is mixed with the voltage from the pot, giving you added flexibility in sound manipulation. When in Pitch mode, the pitch pot lets you pitch the audio up or down with its 7 zones/pitches. The center position (12:00) represents the normal pitch, and you can go three steps up or three steps down from there.

The Pitch jack allows you to mimic the full travel of the pot with voltages ranging from 0-5V. Moreover, the pitch pot is automatically disabled when a plug is inserted into the CV jack, ensuring precise control over your audio. The Roboto module is not only powerful but also compact and party-ready. With its Cylon-inspired graphic that lights up, it adds a visually captivating element to your setup.

Additionally, its IN LVL control lets you adjust the level of the incoming signal, while the MIX knob allows you to blend the input and processed signal to your liking.
