The best setting for the flow depends on your home's plumbing arrangement and can be determined through trial and error. One of the benefits of this pump is its compatibility with different plumbing fittings. It can be used as a replacement for models with sweat fittings or threaded fittings, as long as the pipe fittings are changed accordingly. In some cases, it may be possible to use the new pump bottom with the existing brass housing, saving cost and effort. Installation of the pump is relatively straightforward. It is recommended to shut off the water supply to the pump before replacing the motor assembly. The new motor assembly can be easily screwed onto the housing by hand, with the included seal.
