You will need wood glue, an X-acto knife and super glue to attach plastic and metal to the wood. Reviews suggest that the model is challenging as it requires great attention to detail, patience, and some knowledge of wooden plane and boat kits. The kit is small and the stringers need to be sanded and wetted to fit in the small notches, which requires a lot of patience. The plans also include the option to build floats for the plane, as it is a popular feature and definitely worth the trouble. The general Consensus is that the completed model is beautiful if it's built correctly, which could take around three months.
