Dettagli del prodotto
- The Middleton Games 18-inch Deluxe Maroon Velour Backgammon Set is tailored for beginners and casual players, boasting a medium-sized classic backgammon board design that makes it a standout choice for those who simply want to learn backgammon, as well as casual players. Avoid any additional costs by purchasing directly from the manufacturer, as GammonVillage owns the Middleton Games brand. Case: This foldable backgammon set features a luggage-style case made of premium velour material. The case is adorned with maroon leatherette stitched strips, accentuating its aesthetic appeal. It is equipped with robust brass latches and a reliable handle for easy portability. Board: When opened, the set unveils a meticulously arranged backgammon board with dedicated compartments for checkers and dice, ensuring tidiness. The playing surface, crafted from smooth maroon velour, facilitates smooth movement of the checkers, further enhanced by stitched maroon and white leatherette points, adding to the game's elegance. Checkers: Included in the set are 30 sturdy Uria Stone checkers—15 in maroon and 15 in ivory—guaranteeing durability and reliability for countless games. Sized at 1 1/4 inch (3.1 cm) in diameter and ¼ inch (0.6 cm) in thickness, these checkers are perfect for learning the game. Checker sizes adjust based on the chosen board dimensions, maintaining proportionality for larger boards. For example, professional players choose the biggest checkers, which typically have a diameter of 1.75 inches or 44 mm. Board Design: The maroon and ivory checkers on the maroon velour playing field, along with the stitched leatherette maroon and white points, make the backgammon game set visually appealing and ensure an enjoyable first gaming experience. Dice: Complementing the set are two sets of dice—one white and one maroon—each measuring 5/8 inch (1.5 cm) in size, along with a white doubling cube, all adding an element of sophistication to the gameplay. Cups: Completing the ensemble are two leatherette dice cups, standing at a height of 2 ¾ inches (6.9 cm) and featuring maroon velour interior, matching the design of the backgammon board. For those seeking a quality backgammon set at an affordable price, The Middleton Games 18-inch Deluxe Maroon Velour Backgammon Set is an excellent choice. This set offers luxurious features at an affordable price, meeting the needs of all players.
