About This Item
Introducing our exquisite Maple, Curly wood, perfect for your woodworking projects. Curly Maple, also known as tiger maple, flame, or fiddleback maple, is renowned for its stunning grain pattern and rich color. Crafted from quality, kiln-dried material, this thin stock is cut to size and sanded on both sides for your convenience. Whether you're a professional woodworker or a hobbyist, our Curly Maple is a must-have.
Its durability, hardness, and density make it a dream to carve and turn, and it finishes beautifully. Each piece is meticulously selected to ensure it is 100 percent clear and of the highest quality. Curly maple is not limited to a specific species but rather refers to the figure in the grain. It occurs most often in soft maples, but hard maples also exhibit this captivating pattern.

WOODCRAFT Lumber Editorial Review
The Maple Curly wood board has received a mix of reactions from customers, highlighting a stark contrast in quality perception. Several buyers expressed disappointment, noting that the wood did not match their expectations for "curly" maple, describing the grain as light and poorly figured. One customer remarked it looked like a rough cut piece, suggesting that it lacked the beautiful qualities typically associated with this type of wood. Complaints about specific flaws, such as thickness and chips or gouges on the edges, have also been prevalent, leading some customers to question the value for money and even suggesting alternative sources for better quality wood. On the other hand, a few customers found the product to be exactly what they hoped for, appreciating the appearance and quality as described. This divided reception indicates that while some people were satisfied, many found the product didn’t live up to quality expectations, leading to a less favorable view overall. **
