Cross-platform Development Editorial Review

This book aims to provide tips, tricks, and workarounds for building cross-platform apps for Windows and Mac OS X using Delphi XE7. However, while there are some useful nuggets of information, the overall delivery and translation from German to English leaves much to be desired. The author often relies on components that need to be purchased separately, which can be frustrating for readers on a budget. Additionally, the book is criticized for its high price compared to other resources available. While experienced developers may find value in this book, beginners may struggle with the writing style and should consider starting with other introductory resources.
