The LoveRPi Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Case with Direct GPIO Access is a great choice for those looking for a good quality case that will support its native active cooling and heatsinks, thus giving the users the best of both worlds. It is also compatible with Asus Tinkerboard S and Le Potato projects. However, Banana Pi, Orange Pi boards, and other open-source boards will not fit in this case. One of the screws to hold the board in place is installed from the underside, and some users had to use extra screws from previous projects, as the screws included with the case do not work with their own mounting holes. The case comes with a 30mm x 30mm fan that is quite loud for some users, but can be replaced easily. The case is easy to assemble and comes with a breakout GPIO header. The fit of the case is great, but it can take a bit of effort to snap the board in place. Some users found the clear plastic annoying since the case can light up the board, even after partially covering it with black electricians tape.
