Microsoft Games 7KG-00001 Editorial Review
Crackdown 3, the latest installment in the franchise, has received a mixed reception from customers. While some customers have praised the game as the best in the series, others have found it underwhelming compared to its predecessors. The game builds on the gameplay of the first installment and is available at a relatively cheap price. Online co-op is still a feature, and players have the option to choose which components to install to save space. However, some customers have criticized the game for its generic hero shooter and neon spam visual style. The Conspiracy plot that underpinned the previous games has been dropped, leading to a soft reboot that has discarded much of the franchise's identity. Some customers have reported technical issues with the game, including crashes on Xbox One X, even after a hard reset. It appears that these problems have not been addressed by the developers, which is cause for concern. However, on the positive side, players have enjoyed the opportunity to play as Terry Crews in the game. Overall, Crackdown 3 has its strengths and weaknesses. Fans of the series may still find value in the game, especially with its relatively low price point, but it is important to be aware of the potential technical issues.
