The ATP Improver Kit is a shift kit that does not come with a gasket and filter but improves the overall performance of a transmission. The installation of this kit is rather complicated and requires some drilling. It is not recommended for those who are not familiar with the process. The kit fits A904, A727 (36RH), A904; A727 (30RH); these are torque flite 6 transmissions, and not compatible with the 46RH torque flite 8 transmission. This kit is also not a solution if the transmission does not go into drive, 1, or 2 on a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. However, the kit is helpful for plow snow with a 1999 Dodge Ram and has been reported to improve the performance of the transmission.
